T.I.’s lawyer Steve Shadow has confirmed that TIP was released from prison this morning (December 22nd) and will be put into a halfway house in his hometown of Atlanta. “He was released this morning from his place of incarceration in Arkansas,” Sadow said. “As I understand it, he’s on his way back to the Atlanta area. He has to report to a halfway house in Atlanta sometime this evening. And he will then spend somewhere between the next two or three months in a halfway house, ending his Buruea of Prison sentence.”

Freshman rapper KiD CuDi has become the latest celebrity to have a run-in with the LAPD. According to multiple reports, CuDi found himself in handcuffs on the side of the road yesterday (December 21st) in Los Angeles after the police mistook him and his entourage for burglary suspects. KiD CuDi and his pals were leaving a photoshoot with NME on Melrose Ave when five LAPD patrol cars pulled them over and detained them.

Former Bad Boy Records artist and Notorious B.I.G. right hand mand Lil Cease is hinting that he is starting the process of putting together a possible fitness television show with VH1. Although he didn’t give many details, Cease says he recently met with the network. “Oh yea,had a meetin wit vh1 2day..it was great!!!” Cease wrote Tuesday (December 22) morning. “@wtfrain lmao..nah,I’m workin on a fitness show..imma leave that to flav and ray!! Lil Scrappy recently sat down to talk about what he thinks are the best way to avoid album leaks like Lil Wayne’s recent “Rebirth” or 50 Cent’s “Before I Self Destruct” albums. The Disturbin’ Tha Peace rapper says that rappers should make two albums, keeping one for insurance purposes. “You make a lot of music,” Scrappy said in a new interview, “when you making albums, I think you should do two albums. You should make the same amount of songs on both the first time you hit it hard, bam, then you gotta prepare yourself.”

It looks like Lil Wayne may be busted for drugs again. While driving through Texas a drug-sniffing K-9 unit picked up on a scent outside one of Weezy’s buses so the U.S. Border Patrol performed a random search of the buses (pictured below) and found marijuana stashed on two buses but agents say no drugs were found on Wayne or his entourage.
