Beanie Sigel recently said that Jay-Z has recruited Nas for an upcoming “Empire State Of Mind” remix in which he says they take verbal jabs at him and new friend 50 Cent. The former Roc-A-Fella rapper says that Jigga has their entire rap battle slash beef planned out. “I’m nice at chess too,” Sigel told radio personality DJ On & On. “They say he got a record supposed to come out, the remix to the New York sh*t, he’s poppin’ shots at me, poppin’ shots at 50.”

West-Coast leader and rap veteran, Snoop Dogg recently talked about 50 Cent’s business skills, praising the G-Unit general’s effectiveness in handling both his own career and the careers for artists on the G-Unit roster. “50 Cent is a motherf*cking entrepreneur man,” Snoop told DJ Whoo Kid recently. “That young man is a business man. You know I knew him from the beginning when he first come in. He’s trying to find his niche to what he’s doing [but] he done outgrew everything around him.”


Jay-Z was a big winner last night at the 37th annual American Music Awards in Los Angeles. Jigga, along with Black Eyed Peas, won two American Music Awards including Favorite Hip Hop Album while the Peas grabbed the Favorite Pop/Rock/Duo and the best Soul/R&B group. The Black Frank Sinatra, wearing a white tux, also performed his single “Empire State Of Mind” alongside Alicia Keys, opening to Frank’s New York, New York.” When accepting his award, Jay-Z was confident about his sales saying “Men Lie, Women Lie, Numbers Don’t.”

DMX was hit with a million dollar lawsuit for backing out of his celebrity boxing match that was scheduled to take place in December in Birmingham, Alabama. X was set to box his former manager and boxer slash actor Eric Martinez during the “Alabama Pride” event put on by Thunder Promotions. The fight was set to box for three rounds but when Thunder Promotions allegedly would not fix the fight to make sure DMX was safe, he backed out.
